Womenís Self-Defence Workshops

Workshops now being booked for Groups

Tai Chi Fitness

Practicing tai chi provides benefits in mental and physical health, mobility, and strength. Originally developed for martial arts purposes in China more than 300 years ago, this practice has been used as a traditional exercise to improve fitness, health and longevity for individuals of all ages.

Karate & Jiu Jitsu

All students begin as a white belt and then progress through each course: White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Brown and then SHODAN, Black Belt.
Two styles of martial arts are being taught at your class. Chito-Ryu Karate and Jiu Jitsu under the Canadian Jiu Jitsu Council of Canada. Gradings/testing depends on the attendance, attitude, skill and knowledge of the student. Each person is treated as an individual according to age, ability and experience.

Womenís Self-Defence

This workshop begins with accurate information. Awareness, alertness and avoidance are the foundation of self-defence. This is not a martial arts class but a course that teaches women a series of simple bio-mechanically efficient techniques. Women walk away with a sense of empowerment and a confidence in knowing they can fight back!
